Vending Machines FAQ

No, there is no charge. Supply, delivery, installation, and  maintenance of your machine is all included. We also do not charge for delivering your choice of products.

In order for a vending machine to be successful in a workplace, we would normally require a minimum of 20 employees, or even a high number of customer/contractor traffic. The two most basic requirements are space and a power source that could be used to plug the machine in.

Our two most popular models are Tango H1830mm W890mm D793mm and a slightly smaller Jazz H1830mm W735mm D855mm.

We will first stock the machine with the most popular products, including a selection of crisps, chocolates, drinks and/or healthy snacks. Once our equipment is installed, we monitor the sales to replace low demand products for new ones. We also welcome requests and suggestions from our customers and customise each machine to cater for their individual needs.

The frequency of when a machine gets filled varies based on the size of your Business and consumer demand. Some of our machines are restocked twice a week, while others are visited twice a month. Regardless of the demand, we strive to keep all our vending machines filled with your favourite products. If one line sells faster compared to another, we just add a second line of the same product to make sure it is always available.

Some of our machines are now equipped with tracking systems that provide real time information on your stock levels, so that we can send our driver with a refill just at the right time.

Yes, we can. Once we know you’re interested in getting one of our machines installed, we send out our Representative to survey your business. They will help to decide how many vending machines should be installed and advise you on their best location(s).

All of our machines accept coins (0.05€ up to €2) and give change. Most of our machines are now equipped with banknote accepting mechanisms and will take €5 and €10 notes. Yes, all of our machines give change.

Vending machine vandalism can happen everywhere and is normally a temporary situation, but there are steps that can be taken to prevent this from happening. Choosing the right location is key- installing the vending machine indoors in a visible, high-traffic area is usually the best option. We will also place labels on the machine, warning users of the potential dangers of moving, rocking, or shaking the vending machine. If vandalism does happen and is not purely incidental, we would kindly ask you to talk to your staff and make them aware of the problem. In some locations mounting the machine to the wall, or floor is also an option and we can assist with that, if needed.

The specific locations may vary depending on the type of business, but the goal is always the same: place the  machines in locations that will receive most traffic. Once we know you’re interested in getting one of our machines installed, we send out a representative to survey your business. They will help to determine the best locations and decide how many vending machines should be installed.

We guarantee a technician to be on site within 48hrs, but usually 1 working day is our goal.

Fresh Fruit Deliveries FAQ

We currently offer 2 sizes of fruit bags, a Small Fruit Bag with 20-22 pieces of fruit and a Large Fruit Bag with 40-45 pieces of fruit.

The selection of fruit in your order might vary depending on seasonality. Each order contains at least 5 different types of fruit.

You can pay online using your credit card or PayPal. You can also place a once-off order at fruit@snackbasket.ie and pay cash/cheque upon delivery. Its that easy!

We deliver Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays. Any order placed on a Friday before 12.30pm will be delivered to you on Monday.

All our fruit deliveries are made free of charge.

In order to avail of our next day delivery service, you need to place your order by 12.30pm. Please note orders placed on Friday will be delivered on Monday.

We deliver Monday to Friday between 8am and 5pm. We strive to make most of our deliveries by lunchtime, but cannot guarantee an exact delivery time. Please contact us if your working hours are unusual, or if you close for lunch and we will make every effort to accommodate you.

We deliver to any business address in Dublin.

The easiest way to order is through our website, where you can choose the payment option that suits you, or subscribe for regular deliveries, but for once off cash on delivery orders you can also drop an email to fruit@snackbasket.ie.

We  need at least 48hrs notice, should you wish to cancel or change your order. You can do so by sending an email to fruit@snackbasket.ie. Unfortunately, we are unable to process cancellations of once off next day delivery orders.

Even though we cannot offer a completely customised fruit delivery, we will gladly take note of your preferences and do our best to pack the orders accordingly. Let us know if there is anything you do not want in your order and we will replace it with an alternative product.

Just drop us an email with your name, the company name and the changes you wish to make. We will get back to you via your phone or email within 24 hrs.

We want you to be delighted with your fresh fruit delivery every time, that is why we hand pick and double check all orders right before they leave our warehouse. We offer 100% satisfaction guarantee, so if for any reason you are  unhappy with the quality of fruit, just let us know within 24 hours from delivery and we will replace the item(s) on your next delivery, or offer credit/refund.

Yes, you can. If you want your order split over several offices, just let us know when ordering and we will make every effort to fulfil your request.

Most of our customers prefer having their fruit delivered once a week, but you can choose to order as frequently as you like- weekly, biweekly, or monthly. You can also opt for a once off delivery.

We do not deliver to residential addresses at the moment but hopefully in future we will expand our service.

Different fruit have different shelf lives. Some soft fruits, like berries should be consumed within 2-3 days from delivery, while other like pears or apples can last a week if properly stored.

Yes, you can. We can deliver your gift to any business address in Dublin.

No, there is no contract. If you have a scheduled delivery and have to cancel, please give us 48hrs notice prior to your scheduled delivery.

It is recommended that all recurring orders are paid for with a credit card, but we can also invoice your company weekly, or monthly.

All of our ‘pay on delivery’ orders include a cash receipt, but we can also forward a VAT invoice, if needed.
